April 2011 will mark the 6th year anniversary of Myhedspace.com. The site has evolved from my personal website / portfolio to a free open source web design template project. I’m not sure how I’ll celebrate this occasion but I’m sure I have a couple of things I need to settle before April, web hosting and domain renewal.
I have no problem with my current web hosting provider, but it’s my yearly dilemma that I always spent countless hours googling for the best web hosting for Myhedspace. I don’t really need a huge web hosting space and bandwidth, but sometimes I think of getting an unlimited storage space and bandwidth so I can host all my site in web hosting account. I also need my web host to have 99.9% network uptime and I’ve been seeing this promise in almost all the providers I came across.
After googling for about an hour earlier, I stumbled upon lots of info regarding cloud hosting. Cloud hosting sounds really promising but I need to think about this first. Not sure if I need cloud hosting as of now, but once my other project gets a lot of visits, I might get a cheap cloud hosting.
Anyways, I’m still happy with my current web host and I think I’m just going to renew with them for another year

Hi all! I’ve been busy with my freelance work and I haven’t been posting new updates for awhile. I’m hoping to release new xhtml/css templates by the end of September and I still have plans of releasing some of my old templates as Tumblr themes.
I’ll also try to make template releases for WordPress and Joomla, and I’m really interested in doing templates for Virb and FrogCMS.
BTW, I forgot to post an update regarding the release of MyhedspaceFree11 (it’s myhedspace free13 in this post).

I’m currently working on a new version of myhedspace.com. I’m already finished with the design mock-ups and will convert the designs to xhtml / css later. The new site will be powered by wordpress.
I’ll post updates soon.
